Every Julay Couture gown is handcrafted in our Melbourne studio using the finest fabrics sourced from around the world—including premium lace, pure silk, and specialty textiles. Each design is personally overseen by June, who is known for her sharp eye for detail, commitment to delivering more than expected, and ensuring every gown has that unforgettable wow factor. From sketch to final stitch, every piece is made to feel as extraordinary as the moment it's worn.

Over the years, June’s work has been showcased at major fashion events including the Miss Australia competition (1990), Northern Territory Fashion Awards (1993), Melbourne Cup Fashion Awards (early 2000s), and the Mercedes Car Show (early 2000s). She was also selected as a panel judge at a national fashion show featuring over 500 garments from designers across Australia—a testament to her expertise and standing in the industry. June has won numerous awards in glamour, bridal and evening wear, including the prestigious Supreme Award in Glamour Wear, further cementing her reputation as one of Australia’s most respected couture designers.
